Our Activities section just got even livelier with the introduction of our School Trips functionality.
Trips and Trip Bookings have been added to the booking section on My School Portal allowing schools to organise and manage every aspect of a school trip through the portal.
Users can include detailed information on specific school outings which can then be associated with a calendar item on the front-end of the portal giving parents access to details about the trip. It offers the facility for parents to book and pay online, and then for schools to retrieve the booking information – a quick and simple process for everyone. No more paper booking forms and an easy way of tracking participant attendance and payments.
Bookings can be restricted to a particular set of students or open to everyone,
allowing flexibility for different types of outings.
Staff members can be linked to a trip and identified, for example, as emergency contacts or first aiders. Parent contact information and student medical notes are all pulled automatically from your MIS and stored privately and securely meaning that in the case of an emergency up-to-date details can be accessed quickly and with ease.
