My School Portal proudly exhibited at the ‘Using Technology Within Education Conference’ last week, which was hosted by Eton College’s IT Department. It was great to see some of our current users, as well as having the opportunity to present to so many new schools that we had not yet spoken to.

Alongside ourselves were a number of superb tech companies providing the education sector with bespoke services. These being:

Aspira Cloud – Flexible Cloud Solutions for the Modern Digital Classroom.

Charter House –  Safeguarding Schools Through Cyber Security.

dataJARD Ltd. – Apple Devices Management Specialists.

Firefly – Imagining the Future Classroom.

iSams – Web-based MIS for the entire school community.

ITQ – Providers of “paper light” solutions.

Microsoft – Microsoft Collaboration Solutions and Hardware for Education.

Planet eStream – The unified Video Platform for Education.

Riva Net – Cybersecurity and Connectivity Solutions.

Trams – Workflow Solutions for the Digital Classroom.

Transparity – Experts in Microsoft Cloud.

By far the busiest table was Microsoft, lots of schools spent time understanding how Microsoft Teams could help their school and how the Microsoft 365 toolkit has moved on since the Bett Show in January.

Here’s what Anna Kempster, Head of IT at Eton College had to say about the day:

“Hosted at the beautiful Dorney Lake, enriched by a fabulous turnout representing over forty schools.  The conference hosted by Eton College IT Department on 14th June was an excellent networking and discussion opportunity allowing the exhibitors, including My School Portal, to connect with their customer base and help move us all forward technologically.  Definitely to be repeated!”

Overall, it was a fantastic, productive day and we are looking forward to building on the relationships we made. Big thanks to Eton College!

If you are a school and would like to attend the next conference just drop us an email and we will be happy to pass your details on to Anna Kempster.
