About SchoolBase

Used by 285+ schools worldwide across 29 different countries Schoolbase by Furlong is an MIS system tailored to meet schools’ challenges, whilst being flexible and having the ability to grow with schools and adapt to their future needs.

The Schoolbase system benefits not only staff but parents, guardians, and pupils as well, providing them with the relevant data they need to access and keeping them in the loop with the latest school news. Some of the key features for this platform include Admissions & Marketing, Markbook, and the bus management system.

Putting the partnership into practice

My School Portal’s successful integration with Schoolbase allows all relevant data to be extracted from the Schoolbase API and displayed in one intuitive, simple-to-use dashboard, giving parents and guardians easy access to the information they need at a time that suits them.

Attendance records, Rewards, Term Data, and Pupil Data are just some of the key features which can be extracted from the Schoolbase system and displayed within My School Portal. We are also planning to add several more features to this list including Exam Results and Timetable as well as Reports, to be completed within the next coming months.

We understand the importance of integrating with schools’ current MIS systems and look forward to the future opportunities this latest integration will provide here at My School Portal.

Building relationships

Steve Weller, Business Development Manager, shared the company’s excitement over the integration with My School Portal. He said:

“Enabling excellence in education is the driving force for Furlong – and in our function rich fully web-based MIS SchoolBase, schools can do just that. The recent successful integration between My School Portal and SchoolBase is another example of this commitment and only increases the engagement between schools and parents. We look forward to developing the relationship with MSP further.”
